Solvejg Raurus

Born 1942, Amsterdam 

Governors Bay has been our home since 1990. My husband and I have both been teachers at the Rudolf Steiner School in Opawa.

Since retiring, I’ve explored arts. First watercolour painting and sculpting, followed  by silversmithing. I now am a life member and tutor of the Silversmith’s Guild in Canterbury.

Nature has always been my inspiration.

We feel very lucky to be living at such a beautiful spot, looking out on the water, the jetty, the harbour, and the hills.
