Celtic evening at the woolshed
Saturday 25th March 2023
This sell-out event raised around $10,000 for the jetty (including plank sponsors).
The hosts of Sculpture on the Peninsula held a Celtic Evening of eating and dancing in the newly restored Woolshed on Loudon Farm, Teddington.
The price was $120 per person, which included a 3-course dinner, a glass of bubbles on entry, music, and dancing.
There wAS…
Music by the Jamesons Irish Band
Dancing with Southern Cross Irish Dancers
Food with a sumptuous 3-course dinner by Greenhouse Catering - the chefs for Sculpture on the Peninsula
Drinks with a complimentary glass of bubbles on entry and wine, beer, and non-alcoholic drinks available to buy at the bar (Eftpos available)
Good feelings because this is a fundraiser for Governors Bay Jetty Restoration Trust, with all proceeds going towards the rebuild of the jetty.
About the venue
Loudon Farm is known as the venue for “Sculpture on the Peninsula”. Owners Philip King and Sarah Lovell-Smith have lovingly restored the historic Woolshed, circa 1860, after it was left in a state of disrepair following the Christchurch earthquakes.
