Kim Hennessy

Kim Hennessy is an artist living and working in Governors Bay, Christchurch. Hennessy’s practice involves responding to observations of the everyday in her immediate environment and of the moment.

Her art education was based in the San Francisco Bay Area while her tutors descended from a legacy of great figurative painters; from Richard Diebenkorn to R.B. Kitaj.

Hennessy regularly features at Sculpture on the Peninsula and has been involved in solo, group exhibitions and auctions, and her work has always proven engaging.
