Carolyn Canute

Hi there, I’m Carolyn Canute or known as “CC”. Born in Christchurch 1967 and live in Governors Bay with my husband Lance. My son and daughter were born in Christchurch and spent many of their younger years growing up in Governors Bay.

I have always enjoyed creative writing, poetry and art in my school years, along with being involved in school choirs and learned piano from my mother and still play from time to time today.

A few years ago, I experimented with watercolours and oils and now enjoy painting as a favourite pastime using acrylics on canvas.

My art is inspired by those special moments on our travels or family and friends have memories of special places they have been on their journey. The memory becomes very special to them and can be everlasting. I enjoy the opportunity to develop and capture those moments onto canvas in the form of colourful landscape scenes, still life.
