ABSENTEE BID FORM – Distinctly Peninsula art auction, 29 October 2022
This completed and signed form authorises the auctioneer representing Governors Bay Jetty Restoration Trust to bid on my behalf at the Distinctly Peninsula auction for the following artwork(s) up to the amount indicated below.
These bids are to be executed as reasonably as permitted subject to other bids in the room and to reserves. I understand that if successful, I will purchase the artwork(s) up to the amount I have listed on this form. In the event of identical bids, the first received and accepted bid will take precedence.
I warrant also that I have read and understood and agree to comply with these conditions of sale. I will not hold Governors Bay Jetty Restoration Trust or the organisers of Distinctly Peninsula responsible for any errors that occur.
In presenting an absentee bid, I understand that I must leave my credit card (Mastercard or Visa) details. If successful, the payment will be processed after the auction (bank transfer may be an option if agreed after we have notified you of your winning bid). The Trust will advise me as soon as practical that I am the successful bidder of the artwork(s) described. I will arrange for collection or drop off of my purchase(s). If the artwork has to be sent by mail, I will pay for the cost of delivery before it is shipped.
Your credit card details will be kept until payment has been made after the auction (if you have the winning bid). After that, they will be deleted/securely destroyed by Governors Bay Jetty Restoration Trust.
We only accept absentee bids received by 10am (NZ time) on 29 October 2022 on this form with all information provided and “Yes” ticked at the end of the form.
